The train of failure usually runs on the track of laziness.
By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through. -Ecclesiastes 10:18

Dailoy Bread
After the winter comes the spring
To show us again that in everything
There's always renewal, divinely planned,
Flawlessly perfect, the work of God's hand.

For the Lord is a great God. ...In His hand are the depths of the earth; and the heights of the mountains are His also. -Psalm 95:3,4

Daily Bread
I do not ask to walk smooth paths
Nor bear an easy load.
I pray for strength and fortitude
To climb the rock-strewn road.
Give me such courage I can scale
The hardest peak alone,
And transform every stumbling blockInto a steppingstone.
-Gail Brook Burket
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. -Philippians 4:13

HEAVEN'S VERY SPECIAL CHILD
A meeting was held quite far from earth;
It's time again for another birth.
Said the angels to the Lord above,
"This special child will need much love.
He may not run or laugh or play; His thoughts may seem quite far away.
In many ways he won't adapt, And he'll be known as handicapped.
So let's be careful where he's sent; We want his life to be content.
Please, Lord, find the parents who Will do a special job for You.
They will not realize right away The leading role they're asked to play;
But with this child sent from above Comes stronger faith and richer love.
And soon they'll know the privilege given In caring for their gift from heaven;
Their precious charge so meek and mild,
Is heaven's very special chld. -Edna Masmilla

Our Nation and the End Times...
President John F. Kennedy before his untimely assassination expressed the viewpoint of western civilization when he said, "I speak today in an hour of national peril, and of national opportunity. Before my term has ended, we shall have to test anew whether a nation organized and governed such as ours can endure. The outcome is by no means certain. The tide of events has been running out, and time has not been our friend."
The significance of the present world crisis is that it contains practically all the elements which are a natural preparation for the end of the age. The raging of the nations (Psalm 2:1) is the forerunner to the Son of God establishing His government in Zion (Psalm 2:6; Isaiah 2:2-4). The present generation may witness the dramatic close of the "times of the Gentiles" and the establishment of the kingdom of heaven upon the earth, thus bringing to fulfillment one of the great themes of prophecy—the divine program for the nations of the world. -John F. Walvoord
What did Jesus say, And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. -Luke 21:28
Praise God!

3 bullets...
There once was a man who had nothing for his family to eat. He had an old rifle and three bullets. So, he decided that he would go out hunting and kill some wild game for dinner. As he went down the road, he saw a rabbit. He shot at the rabbit and missed it. The rabbit ran away. Then he saw a squirrel and fired a shot at the squirrel and missed it. The squirrel disappeared into a hole in a cottonwood tree. As he went further, he saw a large wild 'Tom'turkey in the tree, but he had only one bullet remaining. A voice spoketo him and said, 'Pray first, aim high and stay focused. However, at the same time, he saw a deer which was a better kill. He brought the gun down and aimed at the deer. But, then he saw a rattlesnakebetween his legs about to bite him, so he naturally brought the gun down further to shoot the rattlesnake. Still, the voice said again to him, 'I said'Pray, Aim high and Stay focused.'So, the man decided to listen to God's voice. He prayed, then aimed the gun high up in the tree and shot the wild turkey. The bullet bounced off the turkey and killed the deer. The handle fell off the gun and hit the snake in the head and killed it. And, when the gun had gone off, it knocked him into a pond. When he stood up to look around, he had fish in all his pockets, a dead deer and a turkey to eat for his family. The snake (Satan) was dead simply because the man listened to God.
Moral of the story: Pray first before you do anything, aim and shoot high in your goals, and stay focused on God. Never let others discourage you concerning your past.The past is exactly that, 'the past.' Live every day one day at a time and remember that only God knows our future and that he will not put you through any more than you can bear. Do not look to man for your blessings, but look to the doors that onlyHe has prepared in advance for you in your favor. Wait, be still and patient: keep God first and everything else will follow.Today is the best time to find peace with God. Tomorrow may be tolate.........Heb. 4:7

Bible Study...
From Luke chapter one, the story of Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist. Her name comes from the Hebrew, Eli shebe which means "God is my oath." She is a very interesting Bible character to study. The only time she is mentioned is in Luke 1, and there is a wealth of information to be found by studying her life. This is a brief synopsis of her story. This was a lady who came from a prestigious background. She was a descendent of Aaron, the high priest. (Luke 1:5) She was also the wife of Zacharias, the priest. (Luke 1:5) Even though she shared a high place in society, she was also barren, the biggest shame a Jewish wife could suffer. (Luke 1:7) How she reacted to this is amazing. Remember, she is very old (Luke 1:7) and her life for the most part, is over. What would have made most people angry, the Bible says in Luke 1:6 that she and Zacharias was righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordiances of the Lord blameless. This story is another good example of God's "suddenlies" in life. Zacharias, the priest was going about his normal routine (Luke 1:8) when suddenly an angel shows up to give him a message that would change his life, and Elizabeths forever. (Luke 1:11-13) For Elizabeth, her life suddenly changed. Formerly barren and looked down on, she was now going to have a baby, and not just any baby. Her baby would grow to be the man who would "go before the face of the Lord to prepare His way." (Luke 1:76) One thing we see in this story of this little old lady who thought life had passed her by, she still lived blameless before the Lord, and God rewarded her faithfulness. He performed a miracle on her behalf and opened her barren womb, taking away her shame. (Luke 1:25) And through that miracle, Elizabeth played a vital role in the coming of God's kingdom by giving birth to John the Baptist. This story is proof that it is never too late to fulfill your destiny in God. No matter how "barren" your life may seem, or how shameful it has been, God can always turn things around and do something glorious with what is left of your life. That is the way the Lord works, when you think life is over, He will perform a miracle in your life and use the last thing you would expect Him to use to do great things for Him. With Elizabeth I'm sure the last thing she expected God to use her for was the birth of one of the greatest men that ever lived. What is the last thing you would expect God to use in your life? That just may be where your miracle, your God given destiny is hiding! "For with God nothing shall be impossible." (Luke 1:37)
