Stewardship

Stewardship is a complete lifestyle, a life of total accountability and responsibility acknowledging God as creator and owner of all.
Stewardship is responsible management of our God-given resources of time, talent, and treasure.
Stewardship is living out a commitment to be Christ-centered rather that self centered and involves a conversion of the heart.
Stewardship is a life long journey with each person at a different place on the path.

I would testify that Jesus was Lord of all, and I would go to the mall in a vehicle I could not afford, I was so overweight I didn't have the energy to walk around the mall, and spend and charge things I had no business buying. I would get home and my house would be a mess. The day would be a total waste of the time God had so graciously given me. I was in debt from not managing my money properly. I gave no thought to what I was eating. If I was hungry I ate, and I ate whatever I wanted, giving no thought to taking care of God's temple.

Discipline yourself to change, then your life will change.

If you are overweight, you have to eat right and exercise. There are no miracle diets or pills. If you are in debt you have to stop overspending and charging things on a credit card. If your house is a mess, clean it on a regular basis. Get in a routine of regular exercise, cleaning, and budgeting your money.
At the end of the day know that your day was spent Christ-centered, not self-centered. Make Jesus Lord of all.

For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. IICor 5:10
